About The Giving Movement
Donate Today
The Giving Movement is a 501(c)3 charity organization that was established to honor a living legend Minnie Ewing. TGM educates and fosters charitable giving and philanthropy in the community. TGM serves the needs of children and their families that live in impoverished areas and that rely on assistance for something as simple as their next meal. Through out partnership programs TGM is able to meet the needs of people whose lives have been affected because of a disaster.
TGM was established by a concerned group of citizens and business leaders. The founders' vision is to provide a positive environment for at-risk students, insuring their access to all educational opportunities, social services, and support services. By developing positive self-esteem, confidence, and respect, TGM helps to facilitate the ultimate goal of youth to educate them about volunteer services and philanthropy and to challenge them through mentoring programs to reach their highest potential as successful citizens, contributors to the community, and full participants in a world-class society.
OUR MISSION
The Giving Movement Organization has several projects that give back to people across the world. TGM works on making a better tomorrow by helping individuals that need food, clothing, school supplies, books, toys, and other necessities of life. We also strive to provide the proper resources to help them become givers once they have received a helping hand. We have several grant based educational services and projects:
- Annual President’s Volunteer Award dinner
- Back to School program
- Charity Checks campaign
- Generous Strangers Holiday Christmas campaign
- Hospital Hospitality
- “Nothing but Good News radio show”
The Giving Movement Organization has partnered with The Touch Ministry, Feed the Children and Big Brothers, Big Sisters in a direct response for the need to Reclaim, Recover and Rebuild communities. Through education of our children and assisting the adults the Giving Movement is making an impact on our nation.
