The Dallas Learning Centers are schools that were federally court ordered neighborhood schools which are programmatically enriched to meet the needs of students in grades 4-8.

Staff persons in these schools commit themselves to working longer instructional days, providing programs before and after school, and providing additional activities and instructional enrichment on Saturdays. 

I am pleased to speak to the teachers that are shaping our next generation, Jackson said.  I hope to be more than a motivational speaker, I hope to celebrate the lives of these teachers and mentors of our future.
